For customer Reddyn, A.Hak Electron connected an existing 150 kV network in the eastern Netherlands with a new 380 kV connection between the Netherlands and Germany.

TenneT TSO fulfils its responsibility to create a stable electricity industry with a reliable energy grid in Northern Europe. To provide even better guarantees, the organization decided to build a new overhead 380 kV high voltage connection between Dutch city Doetinchem and German city Wesel.

Two existing 150 kV connections were already present in this area, which made TenneT decide to connect the new connection with these existing connections at three separate locations. Thus, a larege part of the existing overhead connections were replaced by 150 kV underground cables.

During this project, A.Hak proved its joint force once again, as various corresponding tasks were carried out by other A.Hak companies. A.Hak Drillcon completed eighteen directional drillings and two auger drillings, Tjaden provided for dewatering expertise and service, while A.Hak Pipelines & Facilities carried out the project management.
