Safety Training at Intense

As part of our continuous endeavor to prioritize safety awareness, A.Hak Electron supervisors attended a training at Intense.

"Research shows that accidents and incidents are often caused by human behavior. People do not adequately react to unsafe situation, do not comply with procedures for various reasons or do register unsafe behavior, but neglect to address colleagues about it', says Operations Department Manager, Giuseppe Pluchino. During the Safety Awareness training for the Management Team and supervisors, practical situations were simulated that were gathered from everyday routines. During these simulations, the behavior of the participants was observed.

"It was a confrontation with our own behavior", Pluchino explains, to conclude with 'it was great to see how participants became more aware of the influence that their behavior has on individual performance, group dynamics and safety in general".

The conclusions drawn and insights gained during this training, were discussed during individual evaluations. In a concluding session, the group identified various action topics which will be implemented by A.Hak Electron on a short term, to further contribute to an excellent safety culture.
